Beautifully illustrated log book kept by William H. Macy on whaling ship Potomac of Nantucket, MA traveling from Boston to the Pacific Ocean commanded by Issac B. Hussey. Includes a list of the many ships spoken. Back of book lists kings of France, Popes of Rome, etc. Also illustrates signal flags of Nantucket whaling ships.
